Nap in car leads to drug arrest in North Vernon

A Kentucky man’s nap in his vehicle in North Vernon led to his arrest on drug-related charges.

According to the North Vernon Police Department, officers were called to check on the welfare of a man sleeping in his vehicle at the Casey’s Fuel Station last Monday. Police say that the man, 51-year-old Charles R. Toole was found to have methamphetamine and marijuana in his possession. He was arrested on preliminary charges for possessing the drugs.
