North Vernon man facing charges in domestic battery case

A North Vernon man was arrested after reports of a person being battered at a home on Sunday.

According to the North Vernon Police Department, officers were called to the incident on Gum Street. After an investigation, police arrested Scott Roth on preliminary charges of domestic battery, Criminal Confinement, and Interference with the Reporting of a Crime. He was taken to the Jennings County Jail.
