Jets Grounded by Raiders
The Hauser Jets couldn’t quite get liftoff Tuesday night in Versailles, falling in straight sets to South Ripley, 25-19, 25-15, 25-11.
Charleston Gelfius led the way with eight kills and a block, while Leah Manley handed out 10 assists and Hope Bailey dug up 13 balls. Regan Mack and Hayden Dickey chipped in on defense, combining for more than 20 digs, but the Raiders’ attack proved too relentless.
The Jets (3-8) continue to search for consistency as they look ahead to a stretch of conference play that could help them climb back toward even altitude.
