Farm Advisor in the Day, Country Artist at Night

Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois will feature a lot of talk about this year’s crops and inputs and equipment as farmers plan for next year. Channel Seed Pro Levi Riggs of Riggs Ag Solutions has those conversations every day, but Wednesday night of the show he changes to country music artist during Channel Fest.

“I’ll Die Tryin’” is the brand new song from Levi Riggs. He opens for Easton Corbin at Richland Community College at 6 PM August 27th.

“All of the Channel Seed Pros from around the nation are going to kind of convene on Channel Fest that evening,” he said. If you’re interested in coming to the concert, stop by the Channel Booth, the Seed Pros will get you a wristband and come enjoy it with us.”

Riggs, from Danville in west-central Indiana, and his band have toured the Midwest and performed at some high-profile events.

“We’ve played the Kentucky Derby, the Super Bowl, we’ve played all kinds of different things. I’ve had multiple charted songs on the Billboard charts and I’ve done a couple shows with Easton Corbin. He’s a buddy of mine and we’re going to be doing this show together at Channel Fest, so it’s going to be a blast. I’ve got a new song that just came out called I’LL DIE TRYIN and you’ll hear that. We’ve also got LD Miller in my band. LD was part of The Millers on America’s Got Talent and they came in runner up in the first season, so he’s probably the best harmonica player on the planet and he’s in my band.”

He thinks hard-working people, like farmers, will connect with his new song, I’LL DIE TRYIN.

“It just talks about a guy that just gets up every day and works as hard as he can for his family to provide, and it may not be what his family deserves, or maybe he can’t quite produce what he feels like they deserve, but he goes out every day and tries hard,” Riggs explained. “I feel like that’s what our farmers do every day when they put on their work boots. They just get out there and they try as hard as they can and I think a lot of farmers will resonate with it.”

To see the show, stop by the Channel Seed booth at Farm Progress Show and ask a Seed Pro for a wristband that gets you admission.
