Intersection discussion postponed to Wednesday

An open house discussion of a dangerous intersection between Columbus North High School and Northside Middle School has been postponed.

According to the Columbus city engineer’s office, the public meeting originally set for yesterday evening, has now been rescheduled for next Wednesday. At issue is the intersection at 27th Street and Home Avenue, which is undergoing a temporary safety demonstration project to improve driver awareness.

City officials are still looking for public feedback on the project. There open house will now be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection. You can also fill out a survey online. You can find more information here: https://www.columbus.in.gov/bikewalk/
