Bulldogs and Olympians Take on the Legends at Franklin Invite

The girls golf season rolled on Saturday at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin, where both Columbus East and Columbus North teed it up in the Franklin Invitational. Against a deep field, the Olympians placed 14th with a team score of 467, while the Bull Dogs followed close behind in 16th at 491.

For East, Abby King once again set the tone, carding a steady 105 to lead the Orange-and-Brown. Calleigh Gill chipped in a 114, with Amaylie Walsh and Sofia Perez both adding rounds of 124. Emma Gill rounded out the lineup with a 126.

North’s day was highlighted by Harper Andresen’s 115, while Bryn Emmitt (121) and Kori Vincent (126) gave the Dogs solid middle scores. Caroline Crawford (129) and Brooklyn Hatton (139) added grit to the card, helping North finish strong as the program continues to develop its younger roster.

Though neither squad cracked the top of the leaderboard, both programs gained valuable reps on a challenging course that will only help them down the fairway as the season progresses.
