State Road 7 Work to Change Traffic on Monday
Temporary traffic changes are coming to Jennings County on Monday, as crews continue work on State Road 7.
According to INDOT, contractors are continuing intersection improvement work on the highway. Starting Monday, State Road will open to one lane of traffic and temporary traffic signals will be activated between County Road 275 West and just north of South County Road 300 West. That is about one mile north of U.S. 50.
Starting on Monday, Squire Lakes Drive, the north entrance to County Squire Lakes, will close and the south entrance at Country Squire Boulevard will reopen.
You can expect traffic delays while the work is ongoing. The official detour will take U.S. 50 to Interstate 65 to State Road 46.
The work is expected to be completed by November. The work schedule is dependent on the weather.
