Back to the Bricks: Brickyard Weekend Returns in Full Glory at IMS
The roar of engines. The smell of rubber. The echo of cheers across the pagoda. Yes, race fans—it’s Brickyard Weekend at the Racing Capital of the World, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway is rolling out the red carpet for one of the most anticipated weekends of the NASCAR calendar.
This weekend marks the 30th anniversary of the Brickyard 400, and the Cup Series is back where it belongs—on the 2.5-mile oval where legends have kissed the bricks and written their names into stock car history. From Friday’s practice sessions to Sunday’s green flag drop, IMS will be full-throttle with action, celebration, and history in the making.
Friday’s highlights include practice for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Cup Series, giving fans their first glimpse of cars dialed in for oval supremacy. Saturday shifts gears with qualifying and the Pennzoil 250 Xfinity Series race at 4:30 PM, while Sunday’s main event—the Brickyard 400 presented by PPG—goes green at 2 PM.
And for those who can’t make it to the track, you won’t miss a moment—we’ll be waving the green flag on your radio dial and online all Sunday long. Tune in to hear the full broadcast of the Brickyard 400 on our stations and streaming live at 1010wcsi.com.
