Aliyah Boston Adds to Her Legacy by Investing in Boston Legacy FC

Indiana Fever All-Star Aliyah Boston announced Monday that she’s buying into Boston Legacy FC, the NWSL’s newest expansion franchise, set to debut in 2026.
For Boston, a Massachusetts native and former Worcester Academy standout, it’s a homecoming of sorts — a chance to give back to the city where she first made her name on the hardwood. Boston joins a powerhouse ownership group that includes Aly Raisman, Elizabeth Banks, and Celtics GM Brad Stevens.
The team will play its inaugural season at Gillette Stadium before moving to a new permanent venue. As Boston continues to dominate the paint in the WNBA, she’s also planting seeds in the soccer world, proving she’s just as impactful in boardrooms as she is on the boards.
