Home Court of Stars: WNBA All-Star Weekend Comes to Indy

The circle city is about to become the center of the basketball universe as Indianapolis plays host to the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. Gainbridge Fieldhouse will shimmer with star power, led by Fever phenoms Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, who headline the home team contingent alongside veteran sharpshooter Kelsey Mitchell.
Clark and Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier, the two top fan vote-getters, will serve as captains in a playground-style draft on Tuesday, choosing from a pool of stars that includes Seattle’s Nneka Ogwumike, New York’s Breanna Stewart, and rookie sensation Paige Bueckers.
Adding to the excitement is the 3-point contest and skills challenge on July 18 — where the league’s best gunners will trade treys and handles in front of what promises to be a sold-out, roaring Indy crowd. The Fever and Storm each boast three All-Stars this year, proving the torch has officially passed to a new generation ready to ignite the league’s future.
With Clark’s popularity and Indiana’s growing fanbase, this All-Star Weekend is shaping up to be one for the history books — where basketball’s brightest stars aim to light up Indy like never before.
