Clark Named All-Star Captain as Indy Gears Up for Big Weekend

The WNBA’s brightest star is coming home to shine. Caitlin Clark has been named a captain for the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, which will be hosted at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. This marks Clark’s second All-Star selection and her first time serving as captain—thanks in large part to a league-best 1,293,526 fan votes.
Clark will co-captain alongside Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier and will draft her All-Star team from the remaining player pool during a televised special on July 8. As the face of a franchise that has embraced her rise, Clark is set to lead not only her team but also the event that Fever fans have been buzzing about since Indy was announced as host.
Despite missing seven games this year—including the last two due to a groin strain—Clark’s sophomore campaign has been electric. She’s averaging 18.2 points, 8.9 assists (second in the league), and 5.0 rebounds per game. She also made history earlier this season as the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 750+ points, 250+ rebounds, and 250+ assists.
Whether she returns in time for the Cup Final or remains sidelined, her All-Star captaincy is already a slam dunk for the city of Indianapolis and the Fever faithful.
