Palou Sets the Pace on Rainy Day 2 at the Brickyard

Alex Palou continues to sizzle at the Speedway. The IndyCar points leader topped the charts on a rain-delayed second day of practice for the 109th Indianapolis 500, clocking in at a blistering 227.546 mph.
Despite several weather delays, all 34 drivers turned laps as qualifying looms this weekend. Palou, who’s dominated the 2025 season with four wins in five races, now sets his sights on winning his first-ever Indy 500.
With Armed Forces Qualifying set for Saturday and Sunday, the pressure builds for every team looking to land a spot in the fastest field in racing. Fans can catch flag-to-flag coverage of the Indy 500 on 1010 WCSI and 98.1 FM on May 25, beginning at 11 a.m.
