Columbus East Boys Volleyball Falls in Straight Sets to Greenwood
The Columbus East boys volleyball team struggled to find rhythm Monday night, falling to Greenwood in straight sets: 25-16, 25-20, 25-18.
Missing a key defensive piece in their usual rotation, the Olympians tried multiple lineup changes but couldn’t maintain consistent momentum. Standout efforts came from Ian Scholl, who led the team in kills and blocks, and Alex Duncan, who paced the offense with assists and timely serving.
Now 9-12, East will face New Albany and Silver Creek before Friday’s rivalry match at home against Columbus North.
