Silver Creek Sweeps Scrappy Bull Dogs in Boys Volleyball
Despite competitive set scores, Columbus North boys volleyball couldn’t break through Tuesday in a straight-set loss at Silver Creek: 25-20, 25-19, 25-20.
Yuta Kondo led North’s offense with 13 kills and added three aces, while setter Kota Kondo handed out 21 assists and tallied five digs. Leo Iorio chipped in with five kills and two aces, and Juan Jose Salcedo Calderon and Noah Dornfeld each contributed with blocks.
The Bull Dogs fought tooth and nail in every set but couldn’t sustain momentum against the Dragons’ pressure at the net.
