Panthers Claw Past Olympians in HHC Showdown

Columbus East fought valiantly but couldn’t overcome a red-hot Jennings County squad, falling 80-71 in a high-scoring Hoosier Hills Conference showdown. Jennings jumped out to an 11-0 lead, and though the Olympians clawed back to within one in the third quarter, the Panthers pulled away late.

Keaton Lawson led East with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Carter Patterson added 18. Jennings was led by Logan Napier (22 points), with Jeremiah Davis and Omar Gonzalez combining for 37 more.
