Columbus North Gymnastics Stays on Top, Defeats Seymour Despite Missing Key Competitors

The Columbus North gymnastics team proved their depth and dominance once again, overcoming the absence of two top competitors to defeat Seymour 105.45-98.95 on Thursday night.
Hayden Harper stole the show, sweeping all four individual events—vault (9.3), bars (9.25), beam (9.3), and floor (9.05)—on her way to a meet-winning all-around score of 36.9.
Ellie McIntier and Emerson Chambers also stepped up, finishing second and third in multiple events, keeping North comfortably ahead of Seymour despite missing Reese Euler and Hannah Perry.
With postseason competition looming, the Bull Dogs continue to prove they’re the team to beat in the area.
