Columbus North Dominates Connersville, Wins Sixth Straight

The Columbus North boys basketball team is on a full-court sprint through its schedule, picking up its sixth straight win Thursday night with a commanding 69-39 victory over Connersville.
The Bull Dogs (13-3) wasted no time taking control, shaking off an early 5-2 deficit with a 20-0 scoring run that put the game out of reach before the first quarter ended. By halftime, North led 30-9, and they never looked back.
Caleb Ferguson was unstoppable, putting up a career-high 25 points to lead all scorers. Austin Perry added 10 points, while Max Coomes finished with nine.
North was lethal from long range, draining 11 three-pointers while shooting 53% from the field. Their defense was just as dominant, forcing turnovers and limiting Connersville’s offense to just nine first-half points.
With their longest winning streak since 2021-22, North continues to steamroll its way through the season, looking to carry this momentum into the final stretch of conference play.
