HAUSER JETS SOAR HIGH, GROUNDS OLDENBURG IN DOMINANT WIN
The Class A No. 4 Hauser Jets took flight Tuesday night, leaving Oldenburg Academy in their jet stream with a commanding 68-33 victory. From the moment the ball was tipped, the Jets were locked in and launching, taking a 19-8 lead after the first quarter before exploding for a 16-1 run to close the half, sending the Twisters into a spiral. By halftime, Hauser had complete control at 37-11, making the rest of the game a mere formality.
Collin Buck was money in the bank, delivering a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Ledger Gelfius (13 points) and Taeshaun Tungate (11 points) kept the offense humming. But the real story was Stryker Gill, who played like a true floor general, racking up 13 assists and four steals, orchestrating Hauser’s offense like a maestro with a baton.
With nine wins in their last ten games, the 12-2 Jets are flying high, continuing to prove why they’re one of the top contenders in Class A basketball. With the regular season winding down, they’ll look to stay on course and keep their engines running at full throttle heading into sectionals.
