IU Columbus Crimson Pride Basketball Struggles Against Alice Lloyd

It was a challenging Saturday for IU Columbus basketball, as both the men’s and women’s teams fell to Alice Lloyd.

The men started strong, holding a late first-half lead, but a 34-4 run by Alice Lloyd sealed a 110-72 defeat. Damontae Thompson led the Pride with 19 points, but the team couldn’t overcome the second-half surge.

On the women’s side, Jacelyn Starks delivered a career-high 31 points, but the Pride lost 83-62. Both teams will now head into a seven-game road stretch, looking to bounce back and build on individual bright spots.
