Hoosiers Stumble Against Illini in Big Ten Clash
The Indiana women’s basketball team struggled to find their rhythm in a 68-54 loss to Illinois at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers fell behind early as Illinois opened with a 13-0 run, and despite a strong third quarter, Indiana couldn’t close the gap.
Sydney Parrish and Chloe Moore-McNeil each scored 13 points, with Parrish adding seven rebounds. Yarden Garzon contributed nine points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Illini’s balanced attack. Indiana, now 12-5 overall and 4-2 in the Big Ten, will face No. 4/5 USC on Sunday in a marquee matchup.
