East Swimmers Fall in Dual Meet at East Central

The Columbus East swim teams faced a tough opponent in East Central on Thursday. The boys narrowly lost 92-78, while the girls fell 93-52. Josh Pendleton led the charge for the boys, winning the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.17) and 500 freestyle (4:55.68). Keaton Stephenson added victories in the 50 freestyle (23.19) and 100 freestyle (50.22), while the 400 freestyle relay team also took first place.
For the girls, Connelly Furnish continued her dominance, winning the 200 freestyle (2:02.52) and 500 freestyle (5:31.17). Despite the losses, the Olympians showed resilience and will look to improve in their upcoming meets.
