Carmel Edges Columbus North in Girls Basketball Showdown

Columbus North got off to a strong start, leading 19-15 after the first quarter, but Carmel rallied to claim a 59-50 victory Tuesday night. The Bull Dogs trailed by only two points heading into the fourth quarter but couldn’t overcome Carmel’s late surge.

Hadassah Hurt led Columbus North with 20 points, while Kaylie Harmon added 13 and Avery Johnson chipped in eight. Despite the loss, the Bull Dogs remain a strong contender in the Conference Indiana race.
