Columbus East “Pink Night” Set to Shine Bright Against Bedford North-Lawrence
The Columbus East girls basketball team is ready to light up the court and the cause tonight, as they host their annual “Pink Night” against the Bedford North-Lawrence Stars. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m., and fans wearing pink will receive free admission to this special game that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer support.
The evening will feature a heartfelt rose ceremony honoring survivors and fighters, a silent auction with over 35 items, and the sale of limited-edition breast cancer awareness t-shirts. Pink ice cream and baked goods will also be available, with all proceeds benefiting the Indiana Women in Need (IWIN) Foundation. IWIN supports Hoosiers undergoing breast cancer treatment by providing essential services like child care and meal preparation. Last year’s event raised over $3,500, and the Olympians are aiming even higher this year. With support from the Columbus East Band Boosters and Volleyball Team, the event promises to showcase the true Olympian spirit.
Let’s pack the gym tonight to raise awareness, funds, and spirits for this important cause!
