Hauser Jets Fly High in Win Over Spartans

The Hauser girls’ basketball team put together a dominant performance Tuesday night, cruising to a 62-24 victory over Southwestern (Shelby) in a Mid-Hoosier Conference showdown. Senior guard Norah Berkenstock led the way for the Jets, finishing with a double-double of 22 points and 10 assists.
Hauser’s defensive intensity was a major factor, as the Jets held the Spartans to just six points combined in the second and third quarters. The team’s ball movement and shot selection were also on display, with June Berkenstock adding 10 points, Braelyn Williams scoring nine, and Kennedy Konradi contributing eight.
The Jets improve to 4-3 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. With their depth and teamwork on full display, Hauser looks to build on this victory as they prepare for upcoming games.
