Bartholomew County Public Library Chosen as Indiana Library of the Year

The Bartholomew County Public Library has been chosen as the Indiana Library of the Year.

The honor comes after a year full of changes for the library with the completion of the flooring project , the summer reading program boasting record breaking participation, and the library’s acquisition of the 850 Tipton Lane Property.

The 2024 Library of the Year design was inspired by the 850 Lane property and famous architect Alexander Girard, who had designed several pieces within the building .

The Library is  celebrating their 125th Anniversary of Library Services in the county.
