Fourth Street closing Friday for India Day celebration

You will see some downtown Columbus streets closed tomorrow afternoon and evening as the Indian Association of Columbus celebrates India day.

According to the Columbus city engineer’s office, Fourth Street will be closed from Jackson to Washington Street and from Washington to Franklin. Washington Street will remain open, but there will be security in place to assist pedestrians.

The event set up and street closures will begin at noon, with the event itself running from 4 to 9:30 p.m. The event will include musical performances, food and booths.
