Investigation of Lafayette Avenue home leads to four arrests
Four people have been arrested after an investigation led to a SWAT team raid of a Lafayette Avenue home in Columbus.
According to the Columbus Police Department, the investigation started after police received tips and complaints about narcotics-related activity at the home. Following a traffic stop near the home Monday night, police arrested 52-year-old Shelby E. Mitchner of Columbus for possession of methamphetamine.

Callahan of Columbus on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.
During the search of the home early Tuesday morning, officers discovered methamphetamine in the kitchen, living room, and two of the bedrooms along with fentanyl found in one of the bedrooms. The also drug paraphernalia throughout the home.
