Voter registration drive set next week at IUPUC
IUPUC will be hosting a voter registration drive next week as part of the campus recognition of Constitution Day.
Trained volunteers will be on hand to help people fill out the registration forms. They will also be able to answer your questions about eligibility, where to vote and even whether you are already registered.
If you want to register to vote, you will need to bring a valid Indiana driver’s license or state ID card, be a citizen of the U.S., be at least 18 on or before the next election and have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days prior to the next election. You also can’t currently be in prison after being convicted of a crime.
The University Library will also be hosting a weeklong display celebrating Constitution Day next week. September 17th marks the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787.
The voter registration event will be from 10 to 2 on Wednesday at the campus at the airport on Central Avenue.
