Seymour Mayor recommends action as investigation into police captain continues
Seymour Mayor Craig Luedeman is recommending to his city’s department of public works and safety that it put Police Capt. Carl Lamb on leave. The mayor made the announcement Tuesday at the request of Indiana State Police investigators.
Lamb is facing accusations of official misconduct, including ghost employment. Indiana State Police are investigating. Results will be forwarded to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office for consideration.
Specifics of the allegations have not been released.
Lamb is a 32-year veteran of the Seymour Police Department.
