HOPE — The Jets couldn’t quite get airborne against a polished Seymour squad Monday, dropping a straight-sets decision but pocketing a few flight checks for conference play.

Leah Manley piloted two aces and two assists, Regan Mack dug 10 rockets in serve-receive, and Charleston Gelfius added two kills and a block assist. Hayden Dickey chipped 7 digs and an ace; Hope Bailey totaled a kill, an assist, and 4 digs. Hauser (5–12) stays in the hangar only briefly—more league fuel-up is on deck.
