Pedestrian dies after U.S. 31 accident in Columbus

Columbus police are investigating a fatal accident this morning where a semi hit a pedestrian on U.S. 31.

Officers were called to the scene at about 7 a.m. this morning at the intersection with Shady Lane.

The name of the victim has not yet been released and the crash remains under investigation.
