Department report that the crash happened at about 7:30 that night when the new Pierce quint style fire truck crashed into the camper, completely demolishing it and spreading debris across the highway..

Sgt. Stephen Wheeles with the Indiana State Police says that there were no injuries. But said it is a good example of why no one should ever ride in a camper trailer while it is in motion.

The fire truck was slated to be delivered to the Broward County Sheriff’s Department Fire Rescue team. Instead, the new truck was set to be towed to the nearest Pierce dealership on Saturday.
