IMAN VELLANI SAYS ‘THE MARVELS’ PERFORMANCE AT THE BOX OFFICE IS BOB IGER’S PROBLEM: Iman Vellani, the actor who plays Ms. Marvel in The Marvels, spoke with Yahoo! Entertainment in an interview published Monday (November 20th) about the movie’s subpar numbers at the box office. “I don’t want to focus on something that’s not even in my control, because what’s the point?” Vellani told the outlet. “That’s for Bob Iger.” She added, “[The box office] has nothing to do with me. I’m happy with the finished product, and the people that I care about enjoyed the film. It’s genuinely a good time watching this movie, and that’s all we can ask for with these films.”
‘CREED IV’ IS IN THE WORKS WITH MICHAEL B. JORDAN SET TO DIRECT: Deadline reports that Creed III producer Irwin Winkler confirmed that Creed IV is in the works during a Contenders Film: Los Angeles event recently. “We are planning to do Creed IV right now,” Winkler said. “We have a really good story [and] a really good plot. We got a little delayed because of the strikes, but about a year from now we’re going into pre-production.” Michael B. Jordan, who directed Creed III, is set to direct this pic as well.
NICHOLAS HOULT IS IN TALKS TO PLAY LEX LUTHOR IN ‘SUPERMAN: LEGACY:’ According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nicholas Hoult is in talks to star as the villain Lex Luthor in Superman: Legacy. James Gunn is writing and directing the film, while David Corenswet is set to star as Clark Kent/Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan will play Lois Lane.
