AMY POEHLER TALKS PARKS REBOOT: Amy Poehler is busy, but not that busy. The Parks and Recreation alum is currently hosting NBC’s Making It, alongside fellow alum Nick Offerman, plus she has a new Netflix film, Wine Country, coming out … and she is exec producing NBC’s new comedy I Feel Bad. However, she could make time for a Parks reboot, she tells reporters at the 2018 Television Critics Association press tour. “I’m avail, I’m tech. avail.” WHEN? “Oh god, I have no idea…Everybody has my number…It’s kind of common knowledge, but we all have a text chain and we talk to each other almost every day, so I think everybody would be excited to do some version of it,” Poehler said. “Hopefully on ice!”

CAST AND CREW OF BLACKkKLANSMAN TALK RACE AT PREMIERE: The premiere of BlacKkKlansman Wednesday took a political turn, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Cast and crew from the Spike Lee film, including John David Washington and Topher Grace, were there, along with Terry Crews and Dave Chappelle were also in attendance, among many others. “These kinds of characters are the most difficult I could ever imagine for an actor to play,” said Jasper Paakkonen, who portrays KKK member Felix. “You’re dealing with the darkest possible things in the human psyche.” Paul Walter Hauser told THR: “I hope people with racist and ignorant tendencies watch it, find that they’re entertained, charmed and moved, and then hopefully compelled to think about how they act and feel.”

FAHRENHEIT 11/9 TRAILER TARGETS MID-TERMS: Michael Moore is giving fans a peak at his upcoming Fahrenheit 11/9; the film is set to drop September 21, with the stated goal of sending an anti-Trump message before the mid-term elections. The film serves as a sort of sequel to Moore’s groundbreaking, controversial Fahrenheit 9/11.

TRIBUNE MEDIA SEEKS $1B IN SUIT AGAINST SINCLAIR: Tribune Media is sharing details of its lawsuit against Sinclair Broadcast Group. It is seeking $1 billion from the local TV station owner, pointing to its “belligerent and unnecessarily protracted negotiations” with regulators, which it claims sunk the $3.9 billion deal.
