Listen to the song An Elf Named Moe by Carl Stuck at AnElfNamedMoe.com or on Itunes, Spotify, or any of your favorite music services and create your best hand-drawn, painted, or sketched depiction of what you think Moe looks like. Fill out an entry form and send a scan or picture of your creation to ArtContest@AnElfNamedMoe.com or follow @AnElfNamedMoe on Instagram and upload your picture to Instagram with the hashtags #AnElfNamedMoe and #MoeEntry (if artist is not account holder also make sure to credit the artists full name) and be entered to win $50 cash for you and $50 cash for your favorite teacher! WE'LL ONCE AGAIN SET UP AT THE CORNER OF 11TH AND WASHINGTON AND COLLECT TOYS FOR KIDS IN BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY. THIS YEAR WE'RE LOOKING FOR NEW STUFFED ANIMALS, BOARD GAMES AND BOOKS FOR KIDS 12 AND UNDER. PLUS, MONETARY DONATIONS ARE ALWAYS ACCEPTED. "Light the Night" is a 5K run/walk to raise awareness for the dangers of unlit people trails in Columbus, Saturday, November 4, from 6:30-9:30 pm, at Mill Race Park. This free event is the senior project of Columbus East student Lizzy Frazier, and will feature incentives for completing each 1K and prizes available to all who participate.
