My name is Britney Ballard, and I am a senior at Columbus East High School. I am organizing the 2nd Annual Kenneth A. Ziegler Memorial 5k Run/Walk. This project is a continuation of Chaz Painter's from last year. All proceeds from this event will be donated to help with pancreatic cancer research. Any donation is welcome, but if you pay at least $25 then you will receive a t-shirt. If paying with a check they should be made out to Columbus East High School. Harvest of Hope Breast Cancer Walk

The 6th annual Harvest of Hope Breast Cancer Walk will be held on Saturday, October 21st, at Cornucopia Farm, 5444 N Rutherford Hollow Road, Scottsburg. Registration: 8:30 AM Event Start: 9 AM.  Cornucopia Farm is located halfway between Salem and Scottsburg just off of Highway 56. A Harvest Brunch will follow the walk at approximately 10:00 AM  A $5 donation is suggested for the brunch which will feature a breakfast casserole and Cornucopia Farm Apple Cinnamon Donuts and more. All proceeds from the walk and brunch go to the American Cancer Society through the Washington County Relay For Life. Ride to Recovery for Kyle Moore
