Gerlach, Jacqueline Gourevitch, Michelle Jaffé, Joyce Kozloff, Kathleen Kucka, Melissa Meyer, Luisa Rabbia, Jennifer Riley, Ursula von Rydingsvard, Kate Shepherd, Kiki Smith, Leslie Wayne. Curated by Stephanie Buhmann in Collaboration with Jennifer Riley. The group exhibition IN CONVERSATION is inspired by a series of interviews with female artists, which were conducted by the art historian Stephanie Buhmann between January 2013 and December 2015. Looking for an approach beyond the mainstream media coverage of the art market, Buhmann visited the artists in their studios. The conversations she conducted in these intimate spaces of artistic practices focus on process, philosophy, personal history, art historic contexts and aesthetics among others. IN CONVERSATION is sparked by these interviews and helps to illustrate them. Though all of the artists featured are based in New York, they are working in different media and styles, reflecting some of the eclectic concerns and methods found in the city’s contemporary art world today. Grammer Industries, INC of Columbus & Grammer IN is hosting a Fundraiser for one of their own!  Glenn Guinn has been fighting brain cancer since June 2016.  Glenn has been a diesel mechanic for 30+ years and the last 11 at Grammer Industries.   All proceeds from this benefit will go to help Glenn and his family with expenses, not the least of which is medical expenses. “It’s All About The Animals” in Bloomington

ACTS is proud to present our next production, I BET YOUR LIFE by Fred Carmichael. Performances will be March 31st, April 1st, 7th, & 8th, at our suite 208 in the Shoppes at Seymour outlet mall (357 Tanger Blvd).  Doors will open at 7:00 PM, and the show will begin at 7:30 PM.  Concessions will be available before the show and during the 15-minute intermission.  Ticket prices are $12/person and will be available online at seymouracts.ticketleap.com or at the door.
