CPE Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt

Columbus Power Elite All Stars Cheerleading Booster Club is hosting it's 2nd Annual Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt at our gym at 965 Repp Drive, Columbus, IN.  Cost is $5 per person.  Pancake Breakfast will be from 9:00 - 10:30 AM.  Egg Hunt will begin at 10:30 AM.  We will have giveaways including the chance to win bikes, toys, and much more!

Curated by Stephanie Buhmann in Collaboration with Jennifer Riley. The group exhibition IN CONVERSATION is inspired by a series of interviews with female artists, which were conducted by the art historian Stephanie Buhmann between January 2013 and December 2015. Looking for an approach beyond the mainstream media coverage of the art market, Buhmann visited the artists in their studios. The conversations she conducted in these intimate spaces of artistic practices focus on process, philosophy, personal history, art historic contexts and aesthetics among others. IN CONVERSATION is sparked by these interviews and helps to illustrate them. Though all of the artists featured are based in New York, they are working in different media and styles, reflecting some of the eclectic concerns and methods found in the city’s contemporary art world today. The Ohio County Historical Society and the Sunshine Stitchers announce the annual Rising Sun QuiltFest. The event will be held March 31-April 2 at the Rising Sun History Museum located at 212 S. Walnut Street in Rising Sun. The Rising Sun quilt event originated inside long-time residents Betty Ann and Lloyd Pavy’s former furniture store. After the couple’s retirement, the Ohio County Historical Society continued the tradition by hosting the event. The public is invited to participate in the annual quilt contest. Entries will be received at the Rising Sun History Museum no later than Wednesday, March 22. Hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. A $10 fee per judged entry will be required. The number of non-judged entries accepted will be determined by available space. Entries will be accepted in: applique, pieced, mixed technique, novelty, art quilt, art work and emerging quilter. Grandview Junction will be performing live at the Mitchell Opera House on April 1, 2017 at 7:00 PM. With members from both Kentucky and Indiana, Grandview Junction plays a mixture of Bluegrass and Gospel music, and they have been playing together since May 2005. They like their songs to be in tight harmony, as well as the high lonesome sound and fast paced speed of bluegrass music. Grandview Junction has written a number of original bluegrass and gospel songs. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and under.

The Columbus Philharmonic presents Elijah
